I found this recipe years ago in one of the many Christmas with Southern Living books I’ve collected, and it has become one of my favorite cocktails.
1 (12 oz) can of frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
1 cup bourbon
Ginger ale, chilled
Lime rounds, for garnish
Combine the limeade concentrate and bourbon in a large jar. With the lid tightly screwed on, shake to combine. Fill rocks glasses with ice, then fill each glass about halfway with the bourbon-lime mixture, or to taste. Top with ginger ale until each glass is filled. Garnish with lime rounds.
Serves 6
🥃 Substitute ginger beer for the ginger ale for a spicier, sophisticated beverage.
