Garlic & Herb Butter

The key to making incredible garlic bread is using this flavorful garlic and herb compound butter. Once you try it, you’ll never make it any other way. You’re welcome.

2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 Tbsp fresh basil, minced

1 Tbsp fresh parsley, minced

1 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp hot sauce, such as Tabasco

1/2 tsp kosher salt

1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Using a fork, mash all ingredients together until thoroughly combined.

Makes roughly 1 1/4 cups

🧄 As mentioned, this butter makes the best garlic bread. Just slice a baguette in half lengthwise and spread the cut sides evenly with the compound butter. Place the bread cut-side up on a baking sheets and broil it for 2 minutes until the edges begin to brown. Serve immediately.

🧄🧄 This butter can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week or in the freezer for up to 3 months.

🧄🧄🧄 Other uses for this dynamic butter mixture include (but are not limited to) smearing it on corn on the cob, dolloping on grilled meats, or spread over chicken prior to roasting.
