Sometimes I enjoy drinking my breakfast. Smoothies make that possible. This one is made with staples we always have on hand. The beauty of smoothies is that you can add, subtract, or substitute ingredients to suit your tastes. In the end, you have a delicious meal that you can lazily sip or take on the go. What’s not to like?
1 1/4 cups mixed frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries)
1 scoop vanilla-flavored protein powder (optional)
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup peach juice or orange juice
1/4 low-fat vanilla yogurt
1-2 Tbsp agave or honey, or to taste
Place the ingredients in a blender and blend until the fruit is liquified. Consume immediately.
